Our History
Established in 2009 and based in Raleigh, North Carolina (The Triangle), John Hughes Company has been active in the real estate industry for over 13 years.
Beginning in 2017, the company platform expanded to include executive search, talent acquisition, and recruitment within the real estate and related industries.
In 2021, upon demand and additional synergies recognized, capabilities grew yet again into the technology field.
Today, our talented team of professionals and resources is comprised of leaders with 18 years of experience within the Real Estate field, 20 years within the Technology sector, and 24 years within Recruitment/Human Resources. Our active experience in these industries and extensive professional network creates an uncommon, synergistic value–add approach to achieving success.

John H. Martin is the founding member of John Hughes Company.
With an expanding and collective career in real estate, technology, and strategic partnerships, John resourcefully utilizes his established network, encompassing market knowledge, and complex sales ability to effectively drive new value-add business opportunities of all types.
A proud native of the Commonwealth of Virginia and graduate of East Carolina University, John lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and three children. He enjoys outdoor activities of just about any kind as well as spending time with family and friends.
